Because video surveillance is becoming more common, you need to be able to detect that type of privacy invasion. The VCD-42 can help you quickly determine if hidden surveillance cameras are being used in any room.
Video cameras radiate a signal that can be picked up by the VCD-42's internal directional antenna. When a video camera is detected, the red LED on the VCD-42 glows brightly. By using the Sensitivity control along with the directional antenna, you can quickly pinpoint the camera's location. Our tests with various cameras have shown a detection range that varies from 3 feet to 12 feet, depending on the type of camera.
The VCD-42 measures 4" x 2.5" x 1.5", weighs 6 oz. and is furnished complete with 9 volt battery and illustrated instructions.
