Product Information

All Aloe Vella products are made with pure, natural ingredients. They are not watered down and diluted like over-the-counter products that you may buy. You only need to use small amounts at a time to achieve maximum results, which means you will find yourself buying replacements of our products less than you would other OTC brands that you’ve used in the past.

Shelf Life

Each Aloe Vella product that you see on our website has a 6+ month shelf life. This doesn’t mean that they “go bad” after six months. It simply means that they are the most potent if used within six months after opening the container.

Oxygen and sunlight will cause rapid deterioration of natural products. Fluctuating temperatures as well as humidity will also weaken the effectiveness of natural lotions, creams, shampoos, etc. These factors decrease the shelf life.

Storage

Always store natural hair and skin care products in a cool, dry place. The bathroom is the worst place that you can keep your Aloe Vella products because of the humidity when you shower, as well as the constant temperature fluctuation. Refrigeration will provide a cool, stable temperature. It’s highly recommended you refrigerate any opened product that you haven’t completely used after 3 months.

If you store your products in the bathroom or do not refrigerate opened products after 3 months, you’ll notice your products will lose some of their potency. In addition, they may become thick, clumpy, or even granular. This is not a product defect. Whenever you use natural ingredients that are free of harmful chemical preservatives, extra care must be taken on your part to maximize the shelf life of the product.
